Community Commitment:

At South Coast Recycling, we feel a strong commitment to our community in the Fleurieu Peninsula. Here are just a few of our current community activities:

Owner Grant Levy is a former president of the Victor Harbor Football Club and has coached “A” grade football through to Junior Colts.  He is still heavily involved in the club.

We sponsor a number of sporting and social clubs in the Fleurieu Peninsula including the Victor Harbor Football Club, Victor Harbor Cricket Club, Victor Harbor Netball Club, Celtics Basketball, Encounter Bay Football Club, Yankalilla Football Club, Victor Harbor Trotting Club, Victor Harbor Bowling Club and Victor Harbor Rotary Art Show.

Convenient locations on the Fleurieu

Our three depots are conveniently located for easy access from communities across the Fleurieu.

Although there’s no restrictions on who can come and cash in scrap metal, bottles or cans, here’s a bit of a guide to where your nearest depot is located:

Victor Harbor: Our Maude Street depots is located on the Encounter Bay side of Victor Harbor and is easily accessed by residents of Inman Valley, Hayborough, Hindmarsh Valley, Chiton, Mount Jagged, McCracken and Back Valley.

Goolwa: The Goolwa depot on Port Elliot Road is open 7 days a week and is particularly popular on weekends with residents across the Fleurieu, but is considered the “local” depot for those in Goolwa, Port Elliot, Middleton, Currency Creek, Mount Compass, Hindmarsh Island, Milang, Finniss and Clayton Bay.

Yankalilla: Our Yankalilla depot is open 5-and-a-half days a week and is the nearest depot for residents of Normanville, Delamere, Second Valley, Rapid Bay, Wirrina, Myponga, Carrickalinga and Cape Jervis.

We’re your go-to for Fleurieu recycling and for scrap metal recycling on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

We pride ourselves on employing and training local staff.

We work closely with local event organisers to ensure sites are kept clean during and after large gathering
